Steps 1, 2 and 3

For guidance, Dancing Kites Steps 1 to 3 are aligned closely with Stages 1 to 3 of Dyslexia Action’s well-established Alpha to Omega scheme.

With dyslexic children, there is no direct match of spelling age to chronological age. Chronological ages here are suggestions only. In trials all three step books appealed to a wide age range. They have been written and designed to appeal to a wide age range.

The spelling age should be the deciding factor in choosing a book for your child, as this relates to their developmental stage.
